Need to lose this gut ASAP

I (20M) used to be on a medication for depression, within 1.5 months of taking the medication I gained 40lbs, I got blood tests done to make sure it wasn't a thyroid problem or anything else and everything came back normal. I went from 150-190, It's been 8 months and I cannot lose it, I gained another 10lbs in the past 2 weeks too. I stopped taking the med 7 months ago thinking it would help but it didn't. I'm 6'1 and I just want to try and get rid of my massive gut I gained, It's embarrassing and killing my self-esteem. I just want to lose the fat/try to recomp my body ASAP. I used to have a pretty nice, toned body and now i look like i'm carrying twins. Does anyone have advice to fix this fast?
