When do you start to see/feel a difference?
I’ve been trying to lose weight since March. Stats - F27/5’5”/176lbs, and I’m currently at 165.5lbs, about 7lbs of which has come off in the past 3 weeks through IF, OMAD, light cardio, no drinks except water, and starting a serving job where I’m constantly moving. Also done a couple 24 hour fasts to make up for the dense food I had to eat as part of my training. I’m pissed it’s taken so long but I had one setback after another, coupled with poor discipline but now I’m being a real hard ass about it all and the scale is finally going down.
I didn’t expect a drastic difference of course, because I have 50 pounds total to lose. Even in 10 more pounds, almost halfway to my goal, I’ll still be fat. I know that. I do feel less bloated I guess, but there is absolutely zero difference in the fit of my clothes and my mom has told me there’s no difference in my face or anything.
I guess I just thought my clothes would be a LITTLE less uncomfortable and maybe I’d see a slight difference in my face at 10 pounds, especially since I lost most of it in only a few weeks. I’m not taking measurements but I know I need to be...keep forgetting to buy a measuring tape.
When did you start to fit better in your clothes, and even if you couldn’t see the difference, when did other people start to? I know I’m on the right track and I’m not gonna give up or anything, just tell me I’ll be comfortable in jeans soonish. 😭
