34 / M / 5’6” 196lbs>163lbs. The journey wasn’t easy, but I promise it is worth it
Shortly before turning 31, I was quite overweight and was struggling with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. My father told me that if I was happy with my body, he would be happy too, but as those before mentioned health conditions run in my family, I needed to take care of my health to live a long life. About a week later, I walked into a crossfit gym and decided to clean up my diet. No more 3 sodas a day, no more fast food multiples times a week, and I told myself I would commit to this new workout program.
The after pic I took the day after my 34th birthday, and looking back I am still stunned at how different I look and feel. It wasn’t an easy journey, and even now it can still be hard, but please stick with it. I promise it is worth it, and YOU are worth it.
