Do I need some cardio before I do a quick workout?
I have been wanting to lose weight in so long, but whenever I start, I stick to working out and eating healthy for a month, then I slowly or abruptly drop out. I've never been big on sport, and food is a huge coping mechanism for me as someone who struggled with depression for years. Now I'm coming at it from a different angle: One small change at a time. I want to start by doing a few movements whenever I find the time (squats, jumping jacks, leg raises), instead of setting a time and place, getting dressed, commuting, finding the time in my schedule. This way at least i'm showing up everyday while I get used to moving my body and getting more comfortable with the idea of working out.
So the question is, is this logical/possible? Or do I "Need" to do cardio before each workout session, then a cooling down?
