For the first time in 16 years I am no longer classified as overweight!

My last post/update 6 months ago celebrated my leaving of the obese category, and now today I can celebrate no longer being classified as overweight!

I still have some work to do to reach my goal and lose some belly fat, but my legs, arms, and back are lean and I look strong overall. 1 year and 2 months into my journey (started September 2020) and am down 102 lbs.

If you'd like a more detailed account of what I did to achieve this I suggest checking out my last post to this subreddit. Overall nowadays I do CICO as much as possible, while allowing for one cheat meal a week where I don't count or estimate calories. I was more strict with myself starting out but gradually I've learned to estimate what I need better. I eat plenty of fish and veg mostly when I cook, and allow for dessert every night (typically Tillamook ice cream). I went from THC every night (I live in a legal state) to none at all since March this year and one alcoholic beverage maybe every two weeks. I even pack snacks for when I'm away from the house to keep my hunger at bay. Exercise consists of 10,000 steps/day, which I've been doing since January 2021, and the occasional arm workout or stretches.

I allow myself to splurge on special occasions like vacations and weddings, because I know with consistency once they're over I can always get back to where I was and that gives me the confidence to maintain in the future.

TLDR: Happy human, big goal reached, -102 lbs in 14 months, no longer overweight!
