What should I keep in mind for round two, two years later?
Hi everyone. I've been here since late 2016. I was a junior in high school. I'm female and 5'3" and at that time I was 16. I weighed 146 lbs and wanted to lose weight. It took me a few months with CICO and I lost 10 lbs. I became fascinated with nutrition and how it alters how our body runs. For the next two years, however, I gradually became more obsessed. I gained a MFP streak of 700, I always saw myself as fat, and became obsessed with calories. I eventually had to drop MFP because I was binging and purging.
Now I'm 21. I'm 165 lbs and hate it. Things feel so much harder than when I was younger. I just don't have the same energy and willpower. My new antidepressants have made me put on some pounds and have also made me hungry A LOT. I'm glad that I no longer have suicidal ideation, but my body is making me sad. Any advice as I begin round two? I'm reluctantly going to start with MFP again
