Dunkin’s Oat Milk Supplier Launches Vegan Creamers
On January 1, HP Hood, LLC—a brand founded in 1846 and known for its dairy products—is expanding its Planet Oat line with three creamers in French Vanilla, Caramel, and Coffee Cake flavors. The new creamers are made with oat milk and will be available for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $3.99 per 32-ounce carton. The creamers are part of a larger expansion to the Planet Oat line, which HP Hood launched in 2018 with oat milk in Original, Extra Creamy, Vanilla, and Dark Chocolate flavors.
More vegan oat options
In addition to the creamers, HP Hood is expanding its oat milk options to include Unsweetened Original and Vanilla flavors (SRP $3.99 per 52-ounce carton) and adding two new flavors (Mint Fudge Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) to its Planet Oat Frozen Desserts—a vegan ice cream line it launched last spring in six flavors with an SRP of $4.99 per pint.
“We have something for every palate, diet, and lifestyle, especially with our newest offerings including Unsweetened Oatmilk and Oatmilk Coffee Creamer products,” HP Hood Director of Communications Sarah Barow said. “For those looking to participate in Veganuary, Planet Oat’s new oat milk creamers are the perfect start to your morning—they are plant-based and dairy-free without sacrificing quality or flavor, so you can stick to your regular routine with just one simple and delicious swap. And if you are looking for something sweet, Planet Oat Frozen Desserts have got you covered there, too.”
Planet Oat at Dunkin’
After testing oat milk at select locations last January, fast-food chain Dunkin’ added Planet Oat’s oat milk to its more than 9,000 locations this August. The vegan milk is now available at Dunkin’ as part of its new Iced Oatmilk Latte, as well as a variety of hot and cold drinks and as a substitute to any milk option (additional charges may apply).
