End of week 2.

So it’s the end of week 2, and time for some reflection.

Sw: 189

Gw: 150

Cw: 187

Net calories over weekly goal: 1,281.

Average net calories: 1713. Goal 1530, not expecting a loss tomorrow.

Positives:

The scale moved! I lost my first 2lbs. I also had a couple of people comment, because I felt less gross I wore tighter clothing, so I was asked if I’ve lost weight.

Negatives: Struggling with staying in my limit with socialising. I went for dinner on Wednesday, and I had to essentially starve myself beforehand. Then being hungover, tired or drunk means my willpower drops and I eat more than I’d planned.

I was planning on going out- again- tomorrow. I’m also planning on going out next Saturday. I have no idea if I can do that and get a loss again. London summer after lockdown means drinking happens and then eating happens! But let’s be honest, that’s an excuse.

What I’ve learned:

I can be hungry, nothing bad will happen.

Planning and prepping is essential.

Having healthy snacks in the house helps, so if you go over, it’s not by as much as it would have been.

I’m having to learn not to be a people pleaser.

I get nervous if I’m seen to not be ‘fun’. I need to work on this, because being the ‘fun’ one who can eat and drink with the boys, who makes people feel good has lead me to being overweight.
