What do you all like to eat the most to make you feel full?
I (24F, 5’9, CW: 159, GW: 145) just started rigorously counting calories. I use my fitness pal and my goal for each day is 1600 calories. I do go over that when MFP accounts for calories burned while walking (usually 100-150 per day as I walk 4+ miles).
Anyway, I just feel constantly hungry. I have ADHD, and on top of that, I also cannot focus on anything if I feel hungry. I still have been just meeting my calorie goals each day but I don’t have much wiggle room for days I go out to eat, drink alcohol (even if it’s just 1 or 2 drinks), etc. because I just cannot skip eating when I feel hungry.
Like today I only have 617 calories left because I have been so hungry so far, but was hoping to eat less so I could have dinner out tonight.
I’ve been looking for foods that will keep me feeling full so I won’t keep eating.
Today I have had:
Breakfast 519 calories total Two eggs scrambled with Gouda, green pepper and ham 208 calories latte with oat milk, made at home 120 calories 41g honey nut crispy oats
Lunch 278 calories total Hummus and cauliflower chips 218 calories 1 small slice of home made pizza 68 calories
Snacks 260 calories Crunchy peanut butter energy bar (one of the more filling snacks I have)
I definitely went overboard with breakfast today
What do you all eat/drink to keep you from hunger and snacking? Bonus points if it’s from Aldi since it’s cheap and within walking distance of me ;)
Edit: I should note that I have the scrambled eggs every day for breakfast and only have the dry cereal if I feel still hungry after
